Living between Brussels & Kinshasa, I accompany international clients and investors with their projects and legal challenges across Sub-Saharan Africa. Originally a specialist in banking and finance law, I deal with a variety of financing transactions, such as: acquisition finance, export finance, project finance and asset-based lending. All of these projects are situated in Sub-Saharan Africa.I am involved in leveraged finance transactions and corporate lending across a wide range of sectors (mining, infrastructure, etc.). I am also familiar with LMA based finance documentation and Belgian and OHADA security documentation. I work on a daily basis with colleagues in various locations on cross border deals. As investments funds and Fintech matters are increasingly important in Sub-saharan Africa, I follow very closely the changing landscape in the financial markets and its impact on the day-to-day operations of financial services providers.
