Independent Arbitrator, Member of the Paris Bar and Founding Partner of TALEX INTERNATIONAL, Pierre Daureu specialises in the prevention (contract management) and resolution of complex cross-border disputes, particularly in Africa, South America and Europe. As a member of arbitral tribunals and Counsel, Pierre has been involved in more than 65 international arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc (notably UNCITRAL) and under the aegis of a great array of arbitration institutions (ICC, ICSID, LCIA, PCA, Swiss Arbitration Center, DIAC, NAI, LMAA, CCIR…).Pierre has particular expertise in complex, often politically sensitive, commercial and investment disputes involving sovereign states, state entities and state-owned companies, particularly in the oil and gas, mining and construction industries.
