As a transformational leader with more than 15 years’ experience in environmental engineering, scientific research and development, and innovation, I am considered an expert in water/wastewater treatment and environmental products and processes development. My contributions to thought leadership in my field include numerous articles and conference presentations; please see PUBLICATIONS for a complete listing. I’ve been appointed as a scientific reviewer and moderator for several major international technical exhibitions and forums; participated in government-financed programs that promoted partnerships between research institutions and industry leaders; and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams in strategic planning, manufacturing, marketing, customer care, and after-sales service. I’ve also served as a reviewer for the International Water Association (IWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEFTEC). With an unwavering mission-oriented focus and a participative leadership style, I am eager to help employees learn and grow. Through working extensively with individuals from geographically and culturally diverse areas, I have developed the cultural sensitivity and inclusive mindset that is so necessary in today’s global workforce. I was educated in Haiti, Belgium, and the US; worked extensively in Canada and Haiti, and speak French, English, Spanish, and Creole. I am highly energized by working with diverse teams. I have wide range of interests outside of work that include travel, running, hiking, and dancing salsa. I am also a dedicated life-long learner and a writer who hosts a philosophy website as a hobby. My volunteer efforts include serving on an administration board for a local non-profit (the Alternative Justice Organisation) and serving as a citizen mediator.
