Subject:- Study of the effect of a mixture of different plant meals on the growth of rainbow trout (feed intake, digestibility tests, FCR...)- Writing of a bibliographic report on alternative protein sources to fishmeal in aquaculture (plants and insects)- Experience on aquaculture of rainbow trout (feeding rate determination, physico chemical and zootechnical parameters monitoring...)

Tasks: -Participation to daily work in a fish farm of Arctic char (hatchery routine tasks, breeding, rearing, feeding, processing, daily problem solving, stock management, night rounds...)- Establishment and follow-up of experiments to determine the potential for reduction of animal and plant wastes by insect larvae (Black Soldier Fly): Feeding tests with these alternative feed ingredient compared to control tanks fed with conventional feed (Evaluation of food, growth, conversion index, organoleptic and sanitary parameters, quality of the chair ...). Acquired skills: - Experience on production and hatchery of Arctic char- Knowledge in aquaculture nutrition- Experimental set up- Teamwork- Stress management

-Project purpose: study the feasibility of producing organic nanoparticles for oral vaccination of farmed fish; comparative study of the envelope proteins of two flavobacteria with the perspective of developing a vaccine against this pathogenic bacteria.-Tasks: bibliographic study on fish farming, flavobacteria and organic nanoparticles. Laboratory work, chemical and biochemical analysis methods (PCR, electrophoresis, western blot), microbiology methods (bacterial culture, microscopic observations)-Developed skills: autonomy, patience and technical know-how
