I am a shunter and supervisor for Tuffnells Parcel Express, I am responsible for driving 7.5tn - 40ft lorries up and around the warehouse putting them on the correct bay, loading and unloading vehicles and trailers for destinations locally and long-distant. I have to scan each parcel and check it against the manifest to ensure all parcels are together and ready for delivery. Parcels can range from small data bags to large pallets weighing up to an excess of 2000kgs. I have a strict timetable to work to, and all lorries I am responsible for must be ready for departure by 7:30am the following morning.I have studied Karate for over 10 Years and I have received my 5th Dan black Belt, I teach at the South Glos Leisure Centres 5 Days a Week. I have my own Karate club in the Fishponds area Called Fishponds Shotokai Dojo. I have recently been on the board for the UNCRC the united conventions of the rights of the child, sponsoring Core Assets fostering agency.I am also a chlidren and young people consultant for FCA Care Leavers.I have been to an IFCO conference and took part in facilitation training and development which I was able to use the training to close the conference.
