I am associate professor (in Dutch: associate-lector) teaching and learning with ict at the iXperium Centre of Expertise Teaching and learning with ict at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen. Together with the professor (Dutch: lector) and the other associate professor, I am responsible for designing and conducting research in the field of teaching and learning with ICT. I am the lead researcher and an internal and external contact person for the topic of ICT literacy. Discussion partners are teachers, teacher educators, managers, policy makers, researchers and professors. I manage researchers, guide them in their further development and coordinate with the program managers of the iXperium labs, partners in the field and the teacher trainer academy. I initiate subsidy proposals for national and international subsidy programs for research or collaborate with partners in drawing them up. I lead (international) research projects that are carried out in the collaboration of research, teacher training and schools for primary education, secondary education, VAT or higher education. I supervise graduates who carry out research within the iXperium, advise on the development of master classes and I am involved in the development and implementation of the Master Design of Contemporary Learning (MOVEL). I regularly give presentations on the various topics and projects of the iXperium.How do we prepare participants of a digital society? How do we ensure that they become adaptive ICT professionals? What does this mean for teachers? What (ICT) skills do pupils, teachers and teacher educators need for life and citizenship, learning and developing, work and profession? These are questions that I want to answer through practical research, in collaboration with our partners.In 2013 I completed my PhD research on the use of lecture recordings by students.
