Pierre Julien, , Ontario - Pierre is a seasoned metals and minerals industry executive with over 30 years of experience in the global mining industry. Pierre has held a number of technical, executive and governance roles within the mining industry. Pierre is currently an EVP with DRA Global where he is responsible for global origination and President of DRA North America is a mining focused, leading provider of advisory, engineering, project management and asset management. Pierre is the the founder of Lincoln Strategic and ORE+PROS, two mining industry services providers. Pierre was also a founding director of TSXV listed Tembo Gold Corp. Prior to forming Lincoln Strategic, he was the President and CEO of Norcast Castings Inc , a global manufacturer and supplier wear solutions to the mining industry. Pierre, via various roles at Outotec (now Metso) has extensive experience is the commercialization, manufacturing, marketing & sales of mineral processing technologies. At Outotec he held a number of positions including President, Outotec North America, and General Manager, Outotec Canada and VP Technical Services & BD, Americas. Pierre is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines (1984) and holds an MBA from the Queens School of Business (1999).Pierre is the current President of the Canadian Institute of Mines, the Past Chairman of the Canadian Mineral Processors Society and is a recipient of the CIM Fellowship award.
