Contracted by the World Bank & Executed by KAFALAT SAL, The B5 Fund aims to support the recovery needs of targeted Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) by the Beirut Port Blast Responsibilities:- Project pre-launch: Workflow and processes negotiation with stakeholders (World Bank, disbursing bank, Money Transfer Organization, project external auditor)- Financial & operational design for grants disbursements- Close coordination with institutional end beneficiaries- Direct coordination with Money Transfer organizations and corresponding Banks for inception of funds/disbursements of grants and expenses/ Validating Financial claims on project- Overseeing bookkeeping and Financial Reporting (Quarterly) for contracting body (World Bank)- Coordination with Project external Auditors, Internal Project departments and project personnel affairs- Reporting to CEO of Implementing body on operation updates, approvals and milestones.

USD30 Million assets under management- Lead and scale up the financial team as balance sheet grew from USD30 Million to USD100 Million, and client SME base grew from 3.500 to over 17.000- Plan and manage company cash flow operations, assets & investments portfolio (over USD90 Million) - Manage company strategy and procedures with regard to taxation, Basle, GAAP, domestic & international standard reporting requirements (IFRS)- Supervise payroll, social security (NSSF), employee health & benefit plans, and reporting of employee income taxes - Act for KAFALAT during external audits (Deloitte), tax audits (Ministry of Finance) & Banks Control Commission
