I am a hands-on technical leader with 15+ years of engineering experience. I specialize in creating and managing new technologies and utilizing analytical tools to assist in product development. I've worked on both large, complex projects for the DOD, as well as at a 6-person startup company.I currently lead the development and architecture of machine learning models and their incorporation into corresponding products at Blue Dot Solutions.I recently served as the Director of Technology at MuscleSound where I was responsible for developing the algorithms the tool relies on to produce a result. I am the co-inventor of these patented algorithms and predictive models. I work across the entire company to drive decisions about company, business and product strategy, and then get hands-on to implement them. I drive analytics projects from beginning to end: frame and structure questions, collect, wrangle, and analyze data, distill and present key insights in support of decision making. As director, a large part of my role is product and project management. I also spent more than seven years leading engineering development teams that built sensor-driven robots for various U.S. government entities. I am an industry expert in thermal forming plate metal into shape using automated processes. I was the sole engineer of a $5m 3D metal forming machine that used 6 induction-based heating heads to form 40ft x 10ft x 1in steel plates from CAD to part. I also applied my interest in new technology and product development to the renewable energy sector, where I have created new processes and designs for wind energy systems.
