Born in 1972, Pierre obtained a master degree in environmental engineering at the University of Louvain as well as a certificate in financial management of ICHEC management school.Pierre has over 21 years experience in a diverse range of Hydropower, Renewable Energy projects, Water resources, planning & strategy and engineering projects. He was in key position for the planning, investigation, economic and financial analysis, design and construction for more than 2000 MW of Hydropower projects at different stages of development for private and public clients (World Bank, KfW, Belgian development agency, Swiss development agency, European Commission, AfDB, ElectriFi, etc.). Recent works includes: dam, spillway, river intake, waterways (canal, tunnel and penstock), power plant, power grid, and other significant structures. He advised several governments for hydropower and renewable energy strategy and planning (Tanzania, Burundi, Madagascar, Vanuatu, DR Congo, etc.).Pierre is also the developer, owner and operator of a micro hydropower plant.
