-Fire Sprinkler System design and consulting-Fire Sprinkler Engineering Services -Engineer Peer Review -Engineer document review and approval -Engineer Field Review and assessment -Commercial, Residential, Industrial-Development of Fire Sprinkler drawings and related documents-Fire Sprinkler System modeling REVIT-Fire Sprinkler System assessments-Storage assessment and determination of fire sprinkler protection requirements-Design and assessments conforming to NFPA, FM Global, or other special requirements.

Utilize AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK to perform fire sprinkler system layout, hydraulic calculations, submittal and field installation drawings conforming to NFPA, FM Global, and local building code requirements where applicable. Projects include; hotels, office buildings, large warehouse, industrial, tenant improvements, retrofits, multi-story, system upgrades, hose valve plans, in-rack sprinklers, spray booths, and residential. Develop High Piled Storage Permit Plans and Commodity Analysis. Coordinate with contractors, owners and fire departments on design and system compliance. Coordinate schedule for design, submittals and ordering of material. Attend BIM coordination meetings and discuss solutions to system clashes. Digital site locating of system components based on 3D system models. Perform/Witness fire pump and system testing, as well as review installation to ensure all applicable codes are met. Develop AutoCAD design standards including details, symbols and notes. Furthermore I also developed and improved system commissioning forms and other company standards relating to safety, basic operation, as well as inspection, testing, & maintenance. Train new and current employees on all aspects of fire sprinkler design. Including applicable codes, types and uses of material, surveying and design techniques. Review junior and subcontractor design drawings for compliance with local codes and company standards as well as for more practical or economical application and installation techniques.

Performed sprinkler system hydraulic analyses and developed reports outlining the results. Developed and presented alternate means and methods for fire sprinkler system design and layout. Reviewed fire sprinkler shop drawings and provided detailed comment letters outlining code related issues. Visually inspected and witnessed testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure installation both matched approved plans as well as installation code requirements. Consulted with architects regarding sprinkler requirements for their projects. Assisted with inspection and testing of smoke control and fire alarm systems. Assisted with developing building egress and life safety drawings. In addition to my regular duties I also spent my office down time developing AutoCAD standards including details, symbols and notes. Furthermore I also assisted in the development of interactive Inspection forms and check lists.

Utilize AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK to perform system layout, calculations, listing, submittal and field installation drawings. Performed Field survey of existing systems in order to produce hydraulic calculations for existing structures. Performed fire hydrant water flow tests.
