CurrentResponsible for developing longer term strategic commissioning plans for preventative services within LewishamDevelop new approaches to preventative services in response to emerging needs, developing new ideas through to steady state contracts in partnership with stakeholders and service usersManage and deliver the complex and demanding programme of service improvements and service redesign to ensure that robust commissioning arrangements are in place for both internal and external servicesResponsible for commissioning new services from a variety of complex funding streamEnsure that robust and well audited finance systems are set in place, ensuring the effective delivery of preventative services that can demonstrate quantifiable outcome benefits and Value for money for Lewisham’s vulnerable residentsDevelop policy, procedures, manuals and training materials related to services for vulnerable adultsLead, and manage, specific projects such as service user involvement and black and minority ethnic communitiesDeveloped and oversee Up!Up! a tailored tier 2 adult weight management service for black African and black Caribbean communities to address differences in tier 2 weight management services access experienced by Black and minoritised groups
