Worked as a an assistant responsible for catering to various banquets and parties hosted at the golf club. After working for a few months as an assistant I eventually worked my way up to start managing a couple events which was great experience and meant I had to look after both the client as well as a few members of staff.

Worked as a green room assistant who was in charge of looking after all of the headline acts for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Each day I would make sure all the private rooms, dressing rooms and main green room were ready for the acts to arrive. I had to be flexible everyday to respond to any request and had to manage my time efficiently. It was an extremely tiring 3 weeks but a lot of fun too.

One of the best summers of my life. Was an awesome experience working all week at an overnight camp, dealing with the day to day craziness of camp life. I learned new skills such as first aid, lifeguard and high ropes training. I met so many inspirational people, campers and counsellors. I was in charge of a new set of kids every week and needed to make sure they had the best week of their summer. I learnt quickly ho to think on my feet and be very creative with very little to work with sometimes. The camp also ran several medical weeks where I met kids who had burn scars, tourettes, asthma, spina bifida as well as others. It was important to give each group the best experience I could and cater towards the difficulties they might have. At the end of the day they all wanted to have fun and so did I. Amazing Experience.

For my industrial placement I worked at Jagex as a texture artist updating all the game assets for RuneScape's upcoming HD launch. It was a great experience working at an exciting company and learn new techniques that I was not being taught at university.
