Started my career at Anglo Coal at Goedehoop Colliery, did my initial training there, from blasting ticket until I received my Mine Manager Certificate of Competency. Was then promoted to Mine Overseer at Greenside Colliery.Anglo also gave me exposure to opencast mining at Kleinkopje Colliery. I worked here from October 2004 until my Promotion at Pit Superintendent at Isibonelo Colliery inJul 2006, This helped me to understand Opencast Mining.
