I am a qualified Software Developer (B.IT, Software Development) with over 10 years of experience developing a wide range of products including:- 3D simulators - Data analytical and reporting- Digital asset data managementI also have experience in managing agile development teams and facilitating project communication and strategies with stake holders.I started my career as a freelance consultant for gamification in corporate advertisement after completing my Unity Autodesk certification. I soon moved to Blue Nickel Solution to work on data analysis and reporting software development in the mining industry for clients such as Anglo American Platinum, Impala Platinum and others, that improved process and control efficiency.In 2016 I started studying BIT part time.In 2017 I moved to SimGenics where I collaborated with a small team to build 3D simulators for power plant operator training and underground mining machine maintenance. These simulators were used to reduce training and operational costs, and improve safety. As a small team our development was self managed and skill requirements included development and decision making on critical areas such as design, 3rd party packages, implementation, client communication and delivery.Digital assets raised in popularity from 2017, but it was not until 2020 that I really dived into the possibilities.In 2020 I completed my BIT qualification and started working on a digital asset data aggregation proof of concept. In 2021 I joined Hash Data where we turned the PoC into a product using Cloud services with a focus on CI/CD. At Hash I gained experience in agile project management and business side strategy and decision making.
