I succeeded in producing several new structures with molecular control over the polymer properties. Furthermore, the optical performance of these systems was analyzed and their physical behavior was studied. During my internship at imec, I was able to expand my knowledge on semiconductors and to gain experience in working in a competitive and multicultural company environment. My internship project focused on efficient removal of post-etch photoresist layers to optimize the back end of line cleaning steps in the lithography process. The working environment was ideal to develop skills such as work organization, working in team, multitasking, symbiotic discussion, critical thinking, etc.
