Formed part of the overall decision-making and management process, ensuring the company achieved its objectives and added shareholder value• Planned, organized, directed and controlled the operational functions for all PPG group companies in Southern and Eastern Africa. This included Manufacturing, Maintenance, EHS, Materials management, Distribution, Logistics and Procurement functions across multiple sites• Oversaw all aspects of manufacturing as Plant Manager of the Alrode manufacturing site, with full profit and loss (P&L) responsibilityMost recently employed in a specialist role to implement and orchestrate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) in the Americas region and to lead the manufacturing integration after an acquisition.

• Led the Supply Chain & Production Control function for Nissan in Sub-Saharan Africa. Scope included all Planning, Design Change Control, Material Control, Warehousing and Distribution functions• Managed sourcing of components from more than 20 countries globally and importing in excess of 6,000 containers per annum• Responsible for all operations related to the warehousing, kitting, sub-assembly, sequencing and supplying of more than 20 000 components in a synchronized Just-in-Time (JIT) fashion to two vehicle assembly lines• Led various cross-functional business improvement projects, including major IT projects, warehouse relocation/optimization project and negotiating business processes between Nissan and Renault in cross manufacturing
