- Successfully created unity within what was previously a fragmented Board by patiently promoting collaboration, respect, and trust, ultimately acting as a linchpin to effective decision making at the Board level.- Oversaw the creation and enforcement of Board policies while balancing governance and efficient operations in a unionized environment.- Evidenced sound decision making and communication skills as the trusted representative of the Board at Provincial meetings and with groups of stakeholders, staff, and students, discussing the Board’s Strategic direction and other educational issues, oftentimes, very sensitive in nature.- Encouraged the creation of more transparent reporting and decision making and completed the implementation of the Board's web broadcasting service.
