I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on the role of Chief Procurement Officer at Gasunie. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition and unlock new renewable value chains togethers with our customers. With the support of our valued suppliers and an annual spend of around €1.5 billion, we’re aiming to realize our ambitious CAPEX projects in North West Europe, both onshore and offshore. While doing so, we strive to lead in ESG, integrated value creation, and broad prosperity.Our procurement team, made up of about 80 passionate professionals working closely with many other expertise centers, is the driving force behind our procurement success. As the CPO, I’ll be focusing on our large projects, sourcing strategies, extending supplier relationships, and championing ESG initiatives alongside other experts. Leading this incredible team, I’m very committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence to ensure we meet Gasunie’s goals and create impact. In particular, I’m dedicated to advancing our sustainable practices into every aspect of our business, from selecting eco-friendly suppliers to reducing our carbon footprint, promoting circularity, and social responsibility.

Senior Project Manager M&A, responsible for the origination and execution of asset and equity transactions. Deals in the domain of gas infrastructure (TSO, storage, German LNG terminal) and renewable energy infrasture such as hydrogen (pipelines, electrolysis) and heat transmission (WarmtelinQ).

Main point of contact for connected industry customers, leading industry projects, modernizing the industry contract framework together with representative associations such as VEMW and EnergieNL. Additionally, leading multiple merger and acquisition projects incl. the Zebra gas grid in close cooperation with customers and regulatory authorities.
