Pietro d'Erasmo, MSc in mechanical engineering (Norwegian Technical University 1976) joined Norsk Hydro Electrolysers (NHEL now Hydrogen Technologies) in 1984 as Mechanical Design Manager.From 1993 Technical Director and responsible for engineering and production departments as well as development. His main experience is with development of atmospheric and high pressure electrolyser systems, as well as with methanol steam reforming and deoxigenation of water. Development projects have focused on gas purification, fuelling stations, new alkaline electrolysers, PEM technologies and metal hydride compressors. Pietro joint FMC technologyies 2008 as project manager in Kongsberg Subsea product development group.Specialties: Hydrogen gas, production, purification, compression and storage. Hydrogen plants industrial and vehicle fuelling applications.
