Born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, in 2013 I moved to the United States in order to further my educational and career opportunities. In January 2013 I enrolled in NYFA where I studied Writing and Directing in Los Angeles, California. There I began my work as a freelance filmmaker, performing duties of assistant director and crew for independent and student projects. By 2014 I moved Brooklyn New York and enrolled in Pratt Institute as a Film & Video major. In that time I worked in, directed, wrote and/or produced a handful of projects; including music videos, short films, short documentaries, interview and commercial work. I graduated from Pratt Institue Film & Video program in 2018, my thesis film "Not My Father's Son" premiered in the Almeria Western Film Festival in Spain, and won awards in New York and Costa Rica. In 21019 lived in both New York and Los Angeles where I worked as a freelance writer and director, doing commercial work for brands and companies as well as developing studio book adaptations, music videos, and other film work. By late 2019 seeing a commercial opportunity, I moved back to Costa Rica and co-founded the digital media company, "NO PASA NADA".By 2024 our team has grown from a two person operation, into a 10+ person team, and an established digital media brand in Costa Rica, increasingly growing in the region.
