I am a co-founder of the Honesty for Ohio Education Coalition, convened with the shared understanding that every child deserves an honest, high-quality education grounded in truth, facts, and diverse perspectives, regardless of race, identity, background, or zip code. I also work closely with partners for the transformation of the criminal legal system in Cleveland and Ohio.

One of 13 members of the Cleveland Community Police Commission, established to provide community input on police policies to help strengthen relationships between officers and the communities they serve. In 2021, Issue 24, now in Section 115 of the city charter, gave the CPC new authority over police policy, discipline, recruitment and training to ensure constitutional policing in Cleveland that protects and serves every resident.

• Managed all organizational staff, operations, finances and budgeting activities (2018 budget of $643,000)• Led all fund development activities resulting in nearly $1.5 million over three years, gaining 11 new funders and starting a sponsorship program.• Coordinated a diverse 29-member board and committees comprised of civic, business, education and philanthropic leaders and chaired by the Cleveland mayor • Monitored the quality and growth of the charter school sector and coordinated sponsor review process for Cleveland's charter sector.• Led the development of a strategic communications plan and oversaw ongoing marketing campaigns.• Facilitated board processes, including writing of annual reports on the implementation and impact of Cleveland’s Plan for Transforming Schools, drafting of criteria for the selection of partnering charter schools by the school district, and internal priority setting.• Led or oversaw the production of four School Quality Guides and the launch of a new School Quality Navigator initiative designed to help families find and enroll in the school that best fits their children's needs.• Represented the organization nationally, regionally, and locally and proactively conducted outreach with community leaders, residents, and families.
