I was responsible for device, service and solution communications for Finland and in this role co-operated closely with the Finnish sales and marketing team. I was responsible for the coordination and development of Nokia's global press site.One of the most important areas of my work was stock exchange release distribution and the quarterly financial results distribution. This requires accuracy and attention to the smallest detail. I was the team's expert when it came to stock exchange releases and I followed closely the rules and regulations of NasdaqOMX, Financial Supervision Authority and the US Securities Exchange Commission.I led a project where a supplier of a PR management tool for was selected, and participated also actively in the implementation phase. Another project I was responsible for was the renewal of Nokia's global press site. The objective of this project was to create a more usable site which better supports Nokia's new strategy.
