In my role as National Officer for Partnerships and Development Financing at the UN in Mexico, I was at the forefront of pioneering resource mobilization and partnership strategies within the UN Cooperation Framework. My tenure was marked by the engagement with the Global Compact Local Network and orchestrating joint inter-agency development cooperation programs. I championed dialogue among diverse development stakeholders, including the private sector and civil society, enhancing policies and practices to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I'm proud of leading the mobilization of resources for UN programs in Mexico, spearheading initiatives that led to national reforms, including laws to combat violence against women and the establishment of a unique sustainable taxonomy in Mexico.

As an Independent International Development Cooperation Consultant, I navigated the complexities of global development challenges across Mexico and Colombia, leveraging partnerships with key international and local organizations to foster sustainable development initiatives. I collaborated closely with GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation) and AMEXCID (Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation), organizations at the forefront of international development efforts. Together, we produced a crucial publication summarizing the outcomes of the 4th Monterrey Friends Retreat, a platform for discussing sustainable development financing strategies, crucial for aligning with the Addis Ababa Action Agenda and enhancing the effectiveness of the United Nations Financing for Development Forum's outcomes.Additionally, my collaboration with Innpactia, a leading platform that connects civil society organizations with funding opportunities, was pivotal in guiding Latin American NGOs through the intricacies of securing European Union funding. This role not only amplified the impact of development projects but also reinforced my commitment to bridging the gap between donors and impactful projects, enhancing the capacity of local organizations to contribute meaningfully to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through these experiences, I honed my expertise in international cooperation, resource mobilization, and strategic partnership building.

I steered the advisory mechanisms for population, migration, and religious affairs, facilitating policy coordination among multiple directorates. My leadership was instrumental during the migrant wave, where I led the national response, ensuring humanitarian aid and rights-based protocols were effectively administered. This role demanded coordination with governmental and international entities, to navigate complex challenges and contribute to policy reforms.

*Coordinate the team that prepares Mexico's positions, about International Development Cooperation (IDC) and financing for development, in international fora such as, but not limited to, the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development ( OECD). * Participate in international fora, sharing Mexico's experience and positions on topics such as South-South Cooperation and Triangular Cooperation, Middle Income Countries, Effective Development Cooperation, multi-stakeholder partnerships, among others.

• Guide the decision making process on CEPEI’s Board, to apply to initiatives and create synergies with institutions, which had a positive impact to our overall goals. • Develop and implement the strategy of partnerships for funded and non funded projects in LAC. I am involved in planning, fundraising, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the initiatives. • Support the advocacy strategy with high level representatives, participating in national and international boards. • Coordinate the outreach strategy of the initiatives before, during and after.• Manage a technical junior level team and senior level professionals, that rotate and was adapted according to the needs of the initiatives • Coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, leading CEPEI’s team based on different geographical spaces and qualified focal points from other institutions. • Speaker in national, regional and global conferences, approaching high level multi-sectoral audiences.

• Institutional relations: i) Implemented an effective communication and collaboration mechanism between the Embassy and Mexican enterprises that had businesses in Colombia. ii) Attended to high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings to support the Mexican delegation by providing key information, coordinating meetings and media interviews.• International Cooperation: i) Identified, developed, and coordinated the implementation of cultural and educational bilateral initiatives, including project and budget design, fundraising and negotiation with stake holders, follow up on tasks, monitoring and reporting. ii) Participated as a Mexican representative in G24 meetings (informal group of 24 embassies present in Colombia, within the London-Cartagena-Bogotá Process). Lead the organization of tri-partite meetings, seminars and trainings between the Colombian government, international donor governments and civil society (national and international NGO’s); iii) Within the South-South Cooperation framework, participated in the coordination of processes for bilateral cooperation projects and technical assistance. • Communications and Press Officer: i) Coordinated media enquiries guaranteeing a clear and expedited response; ii) Implemented a strategy to achieve the promotion and the improvement of the good image of Mexico in the media; iii) Created a close relationship with Colombian media; iv) built a strategic database; v) organized press conferences; vi) produced communication material; vi) management of social media Official accounts.

• Institutional relations: i) Attended to high-level national and international meetings to support the Vice Minister with first hand information for strategic decisions regarding migration and refugees; ii) Participated in the coordination of migration and refugee initiatives, which involved a close inter-ministerial relationship, as well as with civil society and international organizations; iii) Coordinated and follow up of inter-sectorial meetings to endorse action and progress on the agreements regarding different topics the Vice ministry was involved. • Communications and Press: Led the press information analysis and monitoring, locating red alerts and implementing communication strategies within the Vice Ministry.
