I launched the Pilots N Paws Canada non profit organization June 15, 2012. Based on the US Pilots N Paws, I bring together two diverse communities - Pilots and Rescue Organizations - in an effort to give animals a second chance at a home. I manage the program, including recruitment of pilots, outreach to the hundreds of rescue groups in Canada, coordination of flights, promotion, marketing and cheer leading all in an effort to meet the goal of having a 100% volunteer run, free air transportation service available in every location of Canada where a rescue organization needs help moving abandoned, abused and unwanted animals to locations where adoption rates are greater. Saving them from euthanasia just because no-one wanted them where they were.I work with incredibly generous, animal-loving pilots and hard working volunteer rescue groups who could not before consider long distance adoptions.

Certified as a professional dog trainer with Animal Behaviour College in the US, I offered classes and private training to owners of puppies and dogs. I specialized in dogs with behaviour issues primarily.
