I am currently working as a Technical Research Manager at Barcelona Supercomputing Center-Instituto Nacional de Bioinformático (BSC-INB), helping in the IMPaCT-Data program management. BSC is the Spanish national supercomputing centre and we are specialised in high-performance computing (HPC) and managing the MareNostrum, one of the most potent super-computers in Europe.The Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (‘Instituto Nacional de Bioinformática’ in Spanish, or short INB), is the bioinformatics technology platform of the Carlos III Health Institute (‘Instituto de Salud Carlos III‘ or ISCIII). I have experience as a Project Manager for FP7, H2020, HE, IMI, IMI2, and other EU-funded projects, including MSCA and ERC grants. I also have knowledge in strategic and day-to-day project management, as well as technical and financial reporting; management, communication, and sustainability deliverables; consortium meetings; etc.In 2022 and 2023 I worked for the Catalan Health Department's Agency for Health Quality and Assessment. Mainly supporting European Reference Networks (ERNs) developing or updating Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and other Clinical Decision Support Tools (CDSTs). I also managed European-funded projects (IMI and Horizon Europe). Until 2015, I worked as a CRA for 5 years, gaining expertise in Clinical Trials in phases I to III (Therapeutic Areas: Oncology, Hematology, and Neurology), and with some experience as Project Assistant on post-authorization (phase IV) trials.I have managed Breast and Lung Cancer, Thrombocytopenia, Hemophilia, and Myasthenia Gravis trials, performing Selection, Initiation, Interim Monitoring, and Close Out visits, as well as some audits.
