The Works Council of Team Rockstars IT is called the Board of Excellence. It consists of 1 representative per chapter + 2 representatives of our HQ. I was elected to represent Chapter North.

The main responsibility of the Tech Board is to act as a quality gatekeeper for new hires. This way we maintain a high level of knowledge and skill within our community. Each chapter also has a local version of the Works Council which is called the Chapter Board. As Tech board lead java, I represented the Java Tech Board members in our chapter.

In order to measure my living climate around the house, I created a open source project that uses hardware sensors connected to Raspberry Pi's to measure various metrics like temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. The data is read using Python scripts and collected by a Spring Boot application. The data is stored in Prometheus and presented using Grafana..

As tech lead of the integrations team I helped to design and implement software integrations between various products of Avinty like Karify (E-health platform for clients) and USER (the electronic patients file for clinicians) and 3rd parties like Vecozo. Als onderdeel van het Honoursprogramma heb ik een half jaar stage gelopen bij Stabiplan. Stabiplan ontwikkelt productiviteitstools voor Stabicad. Voor mijn stage heb ik meegewerkt aan een Software Operation Knowledge tool. Deze tool meet en rapporteert het gebruik van de producten van Stabiplan om deze verder te optimaliseren.

Voor mijn eerste stage voor het honoursprogramma bij Dit’s Media heb ik met het CakePHP een project opgezet waarmee Dit’s Media scholen tegemoet wil komen door de administratie te moderniseren. Hierbij staat communicatie centraal waarbij leerlingen, docenten en ouders digitaal via dit platform contact met elkaar kunnen zoeken.
