• Helped launch the Atlantic Council IN TURKEY Program (creation of a new brand by defining the program mission, focus areas, website content, deliverables and presentation materials) • Generating ideas for online and in-person events and publication projects to create impact on policy discussions in line with the program’s mission and focus areas and manage the successful implementation of the projects.•Managing the coordination for publications (including the launch of the monthly online blog TURKEYSource to provide analysis and insight on current developments involving Turkey; coordinating the publication of the quarterly Defense Journal by Atlantic Council IN TURKEY which provides expert analysis regarding the full spectrum of defense issues involving primarily the United States and Turkey as well as various reports and issue briefs). •Project development (participating in drafting grant proposals and implementation of awarded grants by contributing to monitoring and reporting).• Supervising and/or managing, the content and the design of the monthly newsletters, program presentation brochures, conference booklets and photobooks. • Creating partnerships with companies, civil society institutions and local and international organizations on common topics of interests. • Representing the program externally with relevant stakeholders (government, diplomatic and academic community, donors and media) as well as at public and private events and conferences.• Managing relations with sponsors’ Corporate Communications Directors. • Contributing to the program’s publications through opinion blogs with a focus on migration, US-Turkey relations and Turkey’s regional relations. • Managing the coordination of a small team including non-resident fellows and junior staff and assisting in recruitment as needed. • Managing the program’s finances (annual budget, revenue and expenses management, and budget management for projects and grants).
