Pınar has been a sustainability practitioner, consultant, and facilitator for over 17 years, working to support system change towards sustainability. She recently co-founded ClaimCarbon, a social enterprise that helps organizations reach their net-zero targets by offsetting, insetting, non-offset contributions by facilitating radical collaborations for CO2 removal projects with co-benefits. She also co-designs and facilitates sustainability trainings, processes, and capacity building workshops for multi-stakeholder groups, using tools such as En-ROADS Climate Action Simulation Game and aiding organizations for climate action plans..In addition to her role at ClaimCarbon, Pınar is a co-founder and organizer of the Sustainable Living Film Festival, an impact focused film festival which had an important role for social change inspiring and empowering change makers to take action for a more sustainable future. She also co-created Surdurulebiliryasam.net, a platform that promotes sustainability by leveraging the transformative power of sustainability documentaries, stories, and solutions.
