Responsible for evaluating client data using SAS, developing and validating various multivariate predictive models, which were used in pricing applications for automobile and homeowner insurance.Helped clients to identify the most significant rating variables and provided loss relativities utilizing constructed models. Made appropriate strategic business proposals to maximize client's growth and profitability.Made considerable interactions with clients to ensure successful implementation of the models. Performed ratemaking and rate adequacy analysis of the company’s personal automobile insurance line in 5 operating states. Determined rating structure including base rates and rating factors for two new operating states.Developed formal rate filings and provided actuarial support documents in each of the states to obtain revisions to the currently filed rates.Corresponded with state DOI analysts to answer any rate and rule filing questions.Made changes to the underwriting rules in compliance with insurance code of each state.Significant interaction with all business groups of the company, including Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Sr. Management, etc.
