I am an atmospheric and climate scientist. My research involves interactions between climate and clouds, tropical precipitation, and geoengineering. Currently I'm focusing on a project on climate and geoengineering impacts in mainland Southeast Asia.I received a Ph.D. in 2019 from the University of Washington, where I studied cloud-climate feedback and tropical cyclones using very high resolution simulations. During my postdoctoral training at CIRES/NOAA CSL in 2020-2021, I participated in an international field campaign that studies wintertime shallow cumulus clouds in the Atlantic Ocean. Using high-resolution models, I explored the relationships between these shallow cloud processes with large-scale winds, aerosol, and radiation - a concept relevant not only to cloud seeding but also marine cloud brightening. Since 2023, I started researching on impacts of climate change and climate intervention (or geoengineering), especially in the context of tropical regions and countries in the Global South. I am passionate in sharing scientific knowledge with the public and aspire to build a climate resilience society.I'm open to collaborating on climate/geoengineering podcasts and writing climate reports.
