My main task from May to June was to carry out post-harvest inspections at the company's forestry sites as well as field inspections related to forest certification. In June, I moved to the log yard to familiarize myself with the operations and processes such as sorting, measuring and storing the raw material. From the beginning of September to the end of November, I continued there as a substitute for the log yard operations specialist.

I participated in various project tasks related to Koskinen's new sawmill, such as building and updating the operating system, tasks related to logistics and safety, and participation in capacity tests.

I worked for the association as a maternity leave replacement. I worked as office secretary, editorial coordinator and information officer. My duties included maintaining the membership register, producing and editing the magazine for members and auction catalogue, and informing about the association's activities and events on the website, social media channels and in the newsletter. In addition, I acted as an exhibitor at fairs and events. While producing the magazine and other materials, I learned to use Adobe InDesign. Wordpress-based service providers became more familiar by managing association's websites.

My responsibilities included the sale of agriculture-related products and warehouse functions. In addition, I worked as a summer holiday provider for the person in charge of horse and pet product group. Hankkija acts as a reseller of various horse and riding equipment and it was interesting to get to know more about different products and suppliers.

I was doing my specialization internship in "SHKL" and got to know the association and its activities in general. In addition to usual secretary duties, such as managing Wordpress-based membership register and websites, I was able to produce association's magazine for memebers and the auction catalogue for annual Yearling Auction. I also got to take part in various events as an exhibitor, such as The Horses Fair and The Kuninkuusravit.
