As festival director for Fitz Fest Wagga Wagga 2021, I successfully attained a COVID Recovery Grant from Wagga City Council for $20,000 to revitalise the music, live events, hospitality and tourism industries of this major regional centre. From conceptualisation, I curated all artists, managed all aspects of the festival, designed and created all marketing including branding, social media, website and video content, negotiated with suppliers, promoted the festival as the spokesperson of the event during major multi-media coverage and support and executed all aspects of the festival from start through to acquittal and remittance.Featuring over 55 original songwriters over 7 stages (6 venues and 1 Riverside amphitheatre stage) the live music was presented for 12 hours from 11 am to 11 pm. Managing a team of approximately 20 staff, several students and kind volunteers on the day and reported all activities to Wagga CIty Council.
