As a hiring candidate I bring over 14 years’ experience in the housekeeping field. I have 2 years’ experience Hotel/Motel, 4 years’ experience in contract cleaning, and over 9 years’ experience in the healthcare field. In the healthcare field I spent my first 6 years as a floor tech/project specialist and was promoted to Environmental Services Supervisor. I learned to view every assignment not as a housekeeper, but as a guest, visitor, manager, and even as a health or JCOH inspector. As the Environmental Supervisor I managed the 2nd and 3rd shifts schedules, training, and daily operations. I oversaw on average 14 employees on a day-to-day basis. I managed the supply ordering, budgeting, and was the contact for all vendors. I resigned in September of 2020 due to pandemic related issues. Which are now resolved. Since my resignation I have expanded my arsenal. Such as customer service by working as bartender/server for Infinite Catering, and groundskeeping by working with S&S landscaping. Some of my biggest accomplishments are the following. Reducing turnaround by more than 50%, implementing more thorough training methods, and improving communication with other departments. My last Joint Commission inspection I managed all major projects. It was the first time in my tenure that we passed with no citations.
