GraphicsVision.AI is a non-profit international organization founded in 2010, that coordinates the activities of research and development, the technology transfer and the exploitation in AI, Computer and Machine Vision and many other areas related to Computer Graphics such as Multimodal-Multimedia Technologies, Visual Interactive Digital Media, 3D Video Technologies, AR, VR and Simulation/Visualisation.The members of GraphicsMedia.net are international institutions with a focus in applied research. These are Independent Applied R&D Institutes (public/private), R&D Units of Multinational Companies and Multinational hi-tech technology transfer companies.The members are located in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, China and Panama, employing more than 1.800 and aggregated project volume of over 250 M€, and more than 200 publications in high ranking international journals and conferences.More at http:// www.graphicsvision.ai.

From November 2005 till January 2014 he served has Executive Director (CEO) of CCG – Computer Graphics Center (www.ccg.pt), a Portuguese Applied Research Institute between the University and Industry in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. Reporting to the Administration Board he provided vision, leadership and direction to execute the organization’s strategic goals. He represented the organization to key stakeholders, including top tier partners, industry, academia and start-up company community. He managed all business and technical operations, defining directions at key decision points in order to assure the organization’s strategic goals achievement. He raised CCG services to industry income from 173.000€ [2004] to 1.250.000€ [2013] and from 9 collaborators at rented facilities to a prestigious and sustainable Applied Research Institute recognized by the Portuguese Government with more than 50 research collaborators with own facilities. During 2012-2013 period he actively contributed in the design, planning and negotiation of the HMIExcel Programme.
