AI Ethics + Policy Prototyping + Ecosystem boosting -Coauthored the White Paper "Leveraging the Power of Artificial Intelligence for the Borderplex Region" commissioned by Microsoft (2020)-Coauthored the report "AI at the Service of Social Good in Latin America and the Caribbean", a report from IBD's fAIr LAC initiative (2020)-Contributed to the academic paper "Data Economy and AI in Latin America. Opportunities and risks for a responsible use", a report commissioned by CETyS (2020)-Strategized the pilot concept of fAIr Jalisco, IDB’s first local Hub under fAIr LAC, a cross-sector alliance to ensure a responsible application of AI in Latin America. Partnering with Tec de Monterrey, IDB and Jalisco’s government for the implementation of the initiative (2019-2020). -Chairing IA2030Mx cross-sector coalition for the 2019-2020 period-Co-authored the report "Towards an AI Strategy in Mexico: Harnessing the AI Revolution" in partnership with Oxford Insights. Conducted research, analysis, and comparison of international best practices on emerging technologies, digital platforms, transport data innovations, cybersecurity, and digital government to inform policy recommendations that advance digital economy development.

Carried out research in the areas of civic technology, sharing economy, e-government, social media and collaborative governance as part of the Data for Social Good initiative; Assisted logistically in the launching of the report "The Architecture of Innovation: Institutionalizing Innovation in Federal Policymaking," convening students and professionals together to discuss how to leverage innovation, data, and technology to drive policy and engage citizens (+400 participants).

Statistical Exploration Project: creation of a data base with +300 variables related to U.S.-Mexico relations, the Mexican-American community and Mexican nationals living in the U.S.; Data visualization project related to the number of U.S. jobs dependent on trade with Mexico. Analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau to create 31 infographics and trade factsheets by State at the Congressional District level; Content curation and social media management (WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram).

Coordinated the expansion of IME’s Window of Financial Counseling. Oversaw and monitored the creation of 5 new chapters of the Red Global MX (formerly Mexican Talent Network) resulting in 42 chapters in 19 Countries with more than 4000 highly-qualified Mexican immigrants at the time.

Organized the first binational Barrio Roots Street Art Festival in South East LA (+500 participants); Developed and implemented IME’s Strategy to Promote Gender Equality through a series of workshops (Nebraska, Omaha & Mexico City) to discuss the challenges associated with gender and immigration (+60 participants per session); Led team of 5 staff members; coordinated with Community Consuls, government officials, community leaders, and guest speakers.

Assisted in the elaboration of a diagnose of the Mexican diaspora and a comparative of countries best practices with regards migratory flows; Advised in the drafting of proposals for the first 100 days of government; Followed-up on meetings with organizations and Mexican leaders abroad working on the subject.

Research, editing and writing of the chapters: “Political and Economic climate and structure”, “Legal Aspects”, and “Customs and Immigration formalities” for the Guadalajara bid book to host the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2018.

Prepared and followed-up on meetings between the Organizing Committee and Federal agencies such as the Federal Police, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Mexican Migration Institute, the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport (CONADE) and Mexican Customs, among many others; Managed the visa system for the Games, being the bridge between National Olympic Committees (NOC), the Organizing Committee, the Mexican Migration Institute and the Mexican Consular Network worldwide for participating countries applying for tourist, working and correspondent visas (half of the NOCs needed visas, more than 3,500 applications were received and processed).

Researched on areas of interest to the Consular District such as security, investment and technology; Selected news on a daily basis related to political and economical issues both from the United States and Mexico, summarizing and translating them Spanish to English; Assisted Pol/Econ Officer in the creation of a contact database for the Section.

Together with the team, interviewed, selected, and trained +400 national and international volunteers that participated in the WYC Mexico 2010; Coordinated travel logistics and visas for 50 international volunteers; Coordinated and supervised 60 volunteers during the NGO Global Meeting at the Conference.

Selected news on a daily basis related to labor rights, migration and commerce for the Secretariat Staff; Assisted Cooperative Activities Specialist in the elaboration of the 2010 Work Plan; Assisted Administrative and Investigation Directors in research for information to complete publications related to migrant workers rights.

Weekly prepared class material and exams; Taught Mandarin Chinese basics in English to 2 groups of 20 students aged 15 to 18 years old; Taught Mandarin Chinese basics in Spanish to a group of 10 parents.
