About Isabelle Piot-Lepetit

I am a Research Director in Economics and Management at INRAE (The National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment). I have more than 25 years of experience in research and consulting with startups, networks of non-for-profit organizations, franchise chains, private companies and consortia, the French government, the European Commission, International organizations… I am n evaluator of European research projects since 201) and a leader of European research projects (Data4Food2030 and TITAN). I am also the co-coordinator of Flagship project - CoEDiTAg – in the PEPR Agroecology and Digitalization (France 2030)My current topics of interest are (i) the underlying process of the ongoing digital transformation and its impact on the positioning of organizations in value chains, (ii) the valorization of data collected by organizations and their transformation into knowledge, (iii) the coevolution of digital and ecological transformation in organizations and food systems, (iv) the implementation of more transparency in value chains, and (v) the development of a framework to understand and monitor the data economy for food systems.Previously, Dr. Isabelle Piot-Lepetit has conducted research on the benchmarking business performance and the measurement of efficiency and productivity towards the improvement of strategic and organizational management and the development of data analytics tools in-tegrated into organizational structures. The work carried out has been published in academic jour-nals, such as Annals of Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Journal, Jour-nal of the Operational Research Society, and Journal of Small Business Management.
