There was period, in my professional life, when I enjoy earning certificates (some of them I present in this profile). But these times are over now...Now, I'm involved in standardization (ISO, IEEE...), mostly related to IT, but also security, project management, and similar items.When I'm designing, creating, or developing software (or system), I'm using "security first" principle. Another rule I follow is that system should be designed for users, not users for systems. And software should work on many platforms, so it is backward and forward compatible (e.g. Windows 7 to 11, current Android version - but also Android used in Amazon Fire).As a side effect of my involvement in any subject, I create many tools, and then some work happens automagically :) Some of them are published as Nugets.I don't like buzzwords, because most of them are simply new names for old rules. Do you know "failing fast"? It was obvious in '70 :) Did you hear "SOLID"? Yes, standard rules of object-oriented programming, decades old. Only name is new.I like .Net, but I also know how to program without such libraries. Even in assembler (Z80 and x86).
