After nearly 20 years of my work experience, I have come to a sort of conclusion about management. Good managers tend to follow the plan, deliver on-time, in budget and good quality. Great managers, in addition, dare to make tough decisions, whatever real-life circumstances they face, also outside the boundaries of the original plan. Supreme managers, furthermore, take full responsibility for the tough decisions they had made. During my professional career, I work hard to excel in taking responsibility. I personally believe, that while achievements are primarily built on commitment, the ultimate success of an undertaking depends heavily on people truly involved, who feel ownership, obligation and responsibility.
