With over 30 years’ experience in the PR and Marketing industry, I have extensive experience in business to business and consumer markets working for top London and Manchester consultancies on leading brands such as NutraSweet, Dunlop, Slazenger, Bensons for Beds, Sale Sharks Rugby Club, Everton Football Club and BNFL Engineering to name just a few! I moved to Anglesey in 2007 and set up as a freelance marketing consultant where my tourism and leisure expertise of working for the North West Tourist Board for 11 years and leading hotel groups has been put to good use. I am also highly experienced at organising successful events from The British Master golf event to product launches and fundraising events for charities including the North West Air Ambulance and the RNLI. I won a coveted CIPR Award in 2005 for the orchestration of a successful PR Campaign for the North West Air Ambulance which increased donations by over 120%, and in 2011 was Shortlisted for a CIPR Award for the media relations campaign for the Anglesey Tourism Association's Royal Wedding Day event held at Anglesey Showground.I pride myself on being a strategic and proactive marketing practitioner that has worked for the benefit of my clients and employers in a conscientious and loyal way, always aiming above all to ensure that the aims of their diverse PR and marketing requirements are achieved while making a real difference to the bottom line.
