I enjoy my current job title as housekeeping inspector because an attention to detail is a strength I possess. This job requires professionalism, delegation, communication, and a sense of urgency I am grateful to have the opportunity to further cultivate in my resume. Before this job, I worked at a very busy local restaurant as lead grill cook, which aided me in developing major stress management and time management skills I will carry with me always. I worked in this position for over two years, as I am a person willing and capable of showing up on time, and with a positive attitude. Outside of my professional spaces I have elected to utilize my free time to organize within my community. In 2020 and 2021, my hours were drastically cut, and with this new found free time and in the midst of our ongoing national crisis, I safely worked with mutual aid organizations to feed myself and my community. I then independently branched off to organize grassroots funding to aid to a local homeless encampment down the street from my apartment. Having initiative, integrity, and compassion are the most important character traits to me, and I carry them with me into whatever work environment I find opportunity to continue expanding and growing in. Cooperation sets everyone up for success, it's cheesy but true that teamwork makes the dream work.
