My name is Piper Jones, and I am currently studying both Political Science and Computer Science at the University of Florida. I am drawn to these fields and their subsequent cross-sections, as I favor problems that require creative problem-solving to find the solution. I am deeply interested in the political ramifications of technology. I hope to pursue research in software engineering either directly, or through a political lens. I feel in blending my growing knowledge of political theory with my skills in software engineering I can promote fruitful technology and policy in my career after college.My other objectives are currently to continue my pursuit of these fields through high academic standing and to gain experience through a software engineering internship in Summer 2025.
