I am currently working as a Designing Out Crime Officer using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) which is accredited by the Police Crime Prevention Academy. I work in architectural liaison in the design of new stations as well as refurbishment projects. I have experience of working in the civil service understanding and implementing policy as a front line service. I spent eleven years working for Transport for London in the the Compliance and Insight departments, gathering data from across the network in order to contribute to the improvement of performance and customer experience. I have worked with quantitative and qualitative social research methods and can use a variety of data analysis applications, such as SSPS, Stata and NVivo. I gained a distinction for my Masters dissertation, an ethnographic and interview based study of the relationship between assistance animals and their owners. I have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of UK political procedures and structures.
