CurrentMy current role has provided significantly more experience and independence. I have taken responsibility for my own satellite clinic and a number of local school clinics. I have also taken the initiative in training and practising the provision of dynamic elastomeric fabric orthoses. Daily clinics cover a variety of patient populations including paediatrics, neurology, orthopaedics and diabtetes. Significant input into inpatient care on the wards across both Frenchay and Southmead sites as well as at the specialist Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit,is also required.Duties outwith the clinic room include timing referrals, trialing new technologies,mentoring students and graduates, and performing audits to improve centre performance. CPD is also regularly undertaken to ensure up to date best practice.This role has enabled me to perfect my transferable skills such as written and verbal communication, active listening, organisation, time management and independant working.
