I am a board member on the CP Society Youth Alliance, which advocates for the wellbeing of youth with CP. We are the first fully youth-driven advocacy group in the New Zealand disability sector.

Student work experience in the Planning & Regulatory Department (Environmental Consents). My job included:- Carrying out pre-lodgement checks on consent applications- Writing consent reports and decisions (including solo site visits)- Doing planning checks on building consent applications- Completing a survey of all the businesses in the Hastings CBD- Compiling information for LGOIMA requests- Creating data sets and graphs for consent history and parking surveys- Other jobs I was given

My job involves OCR work, requesting and receiving fuel invoices and other general office jobs that need doing (sorting folders, filing, etc.)

Customer service, serving behind a counter, briefing customers on the rules of the maze, handling of the till money and banking, stock taking and ordering merchandise, development of a Kids Club database and distribution of club material, cleaning, physical labour.
