Over the last 14 years I have held various governance roles. I served 12 years on Auckland Council up until October 2022. During that time I was chair of the Waitematā Local Board, co-chair of the Hauraki Gulf Forum, Deputy Chair of the Environment and Climate Change Committee and board member, National Council, Local Government New Zealand. I am currently chair, Aaiotanga Peace Place Trust.I was appointed to Te Runanga Papa Atawhai o Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland Conservation Board in August 2023.It was a huge privilege to represent Waitematā and Gulf ward on Council.
