Contracted at JWT Auckland as community organizer, planning social media content and managing the online communities for a number of large NZ companies

Responsibilities: - Keeping the many pages within the Lifestyle section up to date and relevant to our NZ audience.- Grow Yahoo NZ Lifestyle’s presence and audience on social media channels- Creation of NZ-specific content, including interviews, reviews, and stories related to the various channels- Regularly measuring channel performance using various analytics tools, and planning content accordingly- Active role in Lifestyle channel refresh, working alongside editorial manager to fine tune layout, and content placement - Promotion of supplied content from our Australian counterparts and affiliated magazines- Packaging (creating headlines, sourcing/cropping images) content to be pushed on the front page- Working with the wider editorial team to negotiate front page positions, story opportunities- Work closely and foster relationships with public relations agencies and publicists, making decisions on the plethora of interview, story and review opportunities offered- Attending various media events, product launches and previews
