Pippy Scott Meuser has a big job at Counter: anticipating and solving every client problem. And the amazing thing is she succeeds in doing just that. Pippy takes on each new client challenge, large or small, and gets it done. We had a really hard time coming up with a title for Pippy’s role. We finally settled on Director of Client Happiness, because in so many cases Pippy, as our clients’ first point of contact, is the quiet, calming ally who understands whatever issue has them concerned and helps them see the way forward. And they nearly always come away happier than before.Pippy feels she has one of the best jobs in the world. She works with her Counter colleagues to break down complex problems into solvable pieces, identify the best answers to any outstanding questions, and set clients on the right track. Faced with stress, anxiety and even occasional tears, she helps turn them into relief, happiness and moments of outright joy. Day after day, she confidently takes the initiative to grapple with tough challenges and move mountains for our clients. And when it works – as it usually does – she takes enormous pride in a job well done. As well she should. You can't walk down the street beside Pippy without having someone wave, or call out a hello, or stop for a chat. Pippy brushes this off, insisting it’s just because she has an unusual name. But there’s a lot more to it than that. It’s Pippy’s spirit that’s unusual – and our firm, and the lives of our clients, are that much better for it.
