For me, that’s the best measure of success — doing a great job and being invited back to work on new projects together.When I started out, I knew I wanted to specialise in the arts and creative industries because my love of language and art have always run in parallel: from A levels in Art, English, and Film Studies, to getting a first-class English degree (and running the uni life drawing society), to my time working at Arts Council England, House of Cultural Curiosity CIC, and Charleston, a cultural venue and literature festival in East Sussex, UK.In my creative practice as a poet and arts practitioner, I have designed and delivered creative writing sessions with schools and charities, and I co-run artists’ books platform Micro Library Books.I’m proud to be part of industry bodies ProCopywriters and Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing & Proofreading, as well as a range of writing and coworking communities including WILD CoWorking, London Writer’s Salon, and Sonder & Tell’s Wordsmiths. I live in Winchester, UK (and before that, Sussex, Gloucestershire, and Somerset) and I have over a decade of experience working remotely to collaborate with clients across timezones, digital platforms, and many different doc-sharing tools.My love of nature, walking, gardening, drawing, reading, sewing, film, pilates, yoga, and diary writing perfectly support my working practice too: providing the thinking time, space, and sustenance that is key to continually bringing fresh eyes, attention to detail, and new insights to wordsmithing for my clients.
