Having been Duty Manager at this Hotel for the previous owners I was promoted by the new proprietors to Hotel Manager. As well as the aforementioned responsibilities in my previous role, I became responsible for a team of nine employees including the Reception Team, the Housekeeping Team & Night porters. Ensuring that all staff members had the relevant training to bring about a consistent and positive guest journey. First point of contact for all guests, taking Hotel & Restaurant bookings over the telephone & in person. Responsible for daily cashing up, reconciliation of discrepancies in month end accounts, petty cash analysis for both branches of the business (The Old House Hotel & Lilly’s Tea & Coffee House). Alcohol License holder for both properties.

Relocation to another property within the same company, as holding manager whilst the lease was up for sale. Responsible for ensuring optimum guest satisfaction and managing the smooth running of a 12 bedroom Bed and Breakfast with events space. Including, daily organisation of the housekeeping team, dealing with reservations, making breakfast, running the bar, ordering of stock, rates management, review responses and keeping OTA's up to date. Appointed Health and Safety Representative.

Management of a newly opened Aparthotel and Wedding/Events Venue involving: Daily management and organisation of Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel. Organising both short term bookings and long term lets of 27 Self Catering Apartments. Set up and administration of OTA profiles. Rates Management. Project management of refurbishment of a further 10 Apartments and Wedding Venue. Manning the out of hours phone. Sales and Marketing. Housekeeping at weekends.

Front of house customer service for food and beverages in a busy public house.

One of two key holders responsible for the opening, closing, and cashing up. Day to day duties included paying suppliers, delegating work, and supervising bar/restaurant set up. Bar and food service duties. Public relations on social media for weekly Live Music.

Opening and closing of store, cashing up, hiring staff, attending clothing expos with the store owner to chose seasonal goods. Day to day running of the clothing store. Working solo on Brighton Beach Market during summer, assembling stall, merchandising and sales.
